Yummmmmmmmm

I popped out of bed this morning and remembered it was the Grand Opening day for the newest bakery in town, Yeast Nashville.  While securing and preparing their premises, they’ve been hawking their goods at the local farmer’s markets, on record store day, and other various places around town.  I want to support this husband and wife team for two main reasons (or maybe this is three?); they are Polish Michiganders who love the Red Wings.  The slogan of their store is “Home of the Kolaches“!

I left The Hubs sleeping, drove over the river, and happily found a packed parking lot in front of the Yeast Nashville store.  Owner Bill greeted me by name and said he was still following M’s Belly (Yay!  Thanks Bill!).  I opted for two cinnamon rolls, thanked Bill, wished him luck, and burned rubber out of the parking lot towards home.

Fresh, chewy, flaky, sugary, and good lord was that cream cheese glaze on top?   It was the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever eaten.  I’m so happy to support this new business, but am wondering who’s going to support my gym membership if I keep eating their cinnamon rolls!
